Support our specialized outreach tracks to help local girls build critical life skills and confidence.
Utilizing creative platforms such as music, dance, singing, and theater is a highly effective way to nurture organic talent, cultivate critical life skills, and open up viable economic opportunities for young people. At Farida Girls Foundation, our specialized FGF Clubs serve as pivotal safe spaces that address the holistic, emotional, and social needs of adolescent girls and young women residing within informal settlements.
Through intensive training and continuous community-based engagement, these artistic tracks expand creative capacities and improve personal focus. We provide youth with healthy avenues for deep self-expression, allowing them to process hardships, discover a sense of purpose, and experience complete emotional well-being.
We build confidence and practical artistic talent through six integrated program activities:
Our FGF Clubs have been exceptionally transformative, helping local youth conquer stage fright, enhance active listening skills, and cultivate strong teamwork. Despite localized resource limitations, we remain fully dedicated to sustainable development, consistently securing strategic training linkages with partner organizations to guarantee that every interested participant achieves creative growth.
We deploy multi-layered artistic tracks to spark creativity, encourage cultural appreciation, and expand life skills across Nairobi’s school networks.
Providing direct exposure to musical instruments, complex rhythm techniques, and songwriting to expand focus and artistic discipline.
Conducting weekly tap, traditional African, and modern dance sessions inside Brilliant Primary School and Caso Upendo Primary.
Driving melodic progress through tailored singing classes designed to improve vocal strength, tone, and active performance confidence.
Partnering with external creative networks to provide advanced visual arts training, ensuring continuous growth despite material constraints.

Our structured dance sessions - spanning tap dance, modern dance, and traditional African styles - are regularly conducted directly on-the-ground at Brilliant Primary School and Caso Upendo Primary.
Beyond refining vocal strength and tone, these tailored classes serve as a powerful personal development tool that directly helps participants overcome stage fright and build robust confidence in public speaking.
Guided by our core commitment to collaboration, when resource limitations affect our painting materials, we systematically refer interested participants to trusted partner organizations for advanced training.
We warmly welcome both new and second-hand material provisions, including musical instruments, audio performance equipment, and Public Address (PA) systems, to help fully equip our training center and activities.
